To balance your line on an OptiLine server you need : An OptiLine licence allowing remote computation. To check if your OptiLine licence is able to connect to a server, open the OptiLine About Box and verify that the "Can Run Remotely" option is set to [Y] An account (login/password) to an OptiLine server

You can balance your line on a remote server in 4 easy steps :

• Step 1 : Launch the optimization by clicking the "Optimize" button in the workstation tab
• Step 2 : Once the Optimize Dialog Box appears, be sure that the "Compute Solution on Server" checkbox is checked. Click the "Optimize Button"
• Step 3 : Fill the Authentication window
• Step 4 : Select your job priorities and click the "Run" button

You can get your result from the server by checking the server status or by using the notification manager window :

• Getting results from the "Check Remote Server Status" window (More)
  • Choose the "Check Remote Server Status" item in the File menu
  • Fill the Authentication window
  • Select the "Queue" Tab. If your job is no longer in this queue, it is probably ready (the computation is completed) and you are able to download the result from the Ready Tab
  • Select the "Ready" Tab. Select your line and click the "Download" button

   

• Getting results from the "Notification Manager" window (More)
  • Choose the "Server Notification Window" item in the File menu
  • Wait until a "ready" message appears
  • Click on the ready message corresponding to your job
  • Fill the Authentication window
