The Operators Tab

The Operators Tab

The purpose of this panel is to view the operators assignments. The Tab is divided into three parts :

  • Part A : The Toolbar buttons let you select the workstation to display and, if defined, the product model.
  • Part B : The graphical part of the Tab shows for the selected workstation as many task schedule bars as there are operators assigned to the workstation. For instance, if the displayed workstation has 7 operators, there are seven task schedule bars, numbered 1 through 7 (more on this here).
  • Part C : The operator table displays for each operator his/her detailed tasks schedule.

To change the number of operators of a workstation, select the workstation in the Workstation Tab and use the workstation properties panel to edit the value. You can also change the number of operators of all workstations by using the "Change Number of operators" item in the "Operators" menu.

Tip
You can also easily adapt the workstation cycle time to the number of operators on each workstation by using the "Adapt All WS Cycle time to number of operators" in the Operators Menu.
