Project Explorer Organism Tab

The organism tab shows the different organisms you defined. Each organism is a directory on your hard disk, located in the organism root folder. You can set your root directory to any location on your computer, or any other computer accessible from yours. For this purpose, use the "Select Root" button in the right part of the window.

To create a new organism, simply reveal the root folder using the "Reveal Root" button. An explorer window will pop up. To add the organism, simply create a directory in the explorer with the name of the organism. Switch back to ArrayMiner (or close the explorer window), and click the "Refresh Root" button. Your organism now appears in the organism table. You can assign a description and a color to any organism by selecting it and clicking the "Edit Comments" window.

Since the project explorer is a representation of folders (directories) on your hard drive, you can rename, duplicate, delete organisms by revealing the root directory with the "Reveal Root" button and using the standard tools of your operating system.

Double clicking an organism will switch the project explorer to the Projects tab.

Note that if no organism is selected, the Projects tab is inaccessible.

You can define multiple roots on your computer and switch among them with the "Select Root" button.
