The ClassMarker Result Tab Info Mode

    You access this mode by clicking on the “Info” button of a result tab.The table will summarizes the different parameters and options used for computation. The "Update Master Run Parameters" will replace the current master parameters (Filter and Run Parameters) to those used for the computation of this result.



Info Mode of a result tab

  • Analysis : Whether the analysis was a “Cross-Validation” or a “Train and Test” analysis (Option to choose in the Master Tab)
  • Fitness : A quality measure of this particular result
  • Markers : How many markers were requested per class (Option to choose in the Edit parameters box)
  • Multiclass : Whether or not the multiclass option was chosen (Option to choose in the Edit parameters box)
  • Multiclass additional marker : The number of markers used to discriminate multiclass subgroups (Option to chose in the Edit parameters box)
  • Use kNN : Use the k-Nearest-Neighbour algorithm (Option to choose in the Edit parameters box)
  • Apply Logarithm : Apply a log transformation to all the measurements (Option to choose in the filter)
  • Reject Data with N/A values : Don’t consider genes with missing data in the analysis (Option to choose in the filter)
  • Upper Value Threshold : Readjust values greater than this to the chosen value (Option of the filter)
  • Lower Value Threshold : Readjust values lower than this to the chosen value (Option of the filter)
  • Minimum Absolute Variation : The minimum absolute variation between the maximum and the minimum activities of one particular gene to be used in the analysis (Option of the filter)
  • Minimum Relative Variation : The minimum relative variation between the maximum and the minimum activities of one particular gene to be used in the analysis (Option of the filter)
  • Genes Used / Genes Total : The number of used genes out of the total of genes present in your data file. (Depends on the multiple options of the filter)
  • Version used for Computation : The algorithm’s version used to generate this result
