When the Clustering Process Stops

The Optimization Finished Message

Given the nature of the algorithm (Web based) underlying the clustering process, the process stops after a number of iterations without improvement over the current solution. When this condition is met, the algorithm stops and the box on the left is displayed.

Click Ok to close the box. If you wish, you may resume the clustering process from that point, by clicking the Run button in the Toolbar, and keeping the number of clusters unchanged.

The maximum number of iterations without improvement is initially set to 100. This number is doubled each time the algorithm is resumed after the stop.
