Notify Manager |
Q : I do not receive any messages in the notification manager window.
A : Do you start the notification manager by using the "Start" button on the top of the window ? If the "Start" button becomes enabled again a few seconds after you click it, you are probably trying to run the server on a port already used. Try to change it by editing the port field in the header of the window. If you are running on a server outside your LAN (such as the Optimal Design demo server), and you are connecting via a router, be sure that your router correctly redirects incoming messages from the server to your notification manager port on your computer. (Also known as port forwarding, ask your network administrator). |
